Blue Badge application help
The Blue Badge application is online through your council and needs a photo, proof of identity and proof of address. We translate the questions and prepare your application.
A Blue Badge lets you park closer to your destination if you have a disability or health condition that affects your mobility. It costs up to £10 in England and usually lasts up to 3 years.
You apply online through apply-blue-badge.service.gov.uk. The form asks about your mobility and needs a recent digital photo and scans of your documents.
What the Blue Badge claim involves
- You apply or renew online. You'll need a recent digital photo (head and shoulders), a photo or scan of proof of identity (birth certificate, passport or driving licence), proof of address (Council Tax bill or government letter), and proof of benefits if you get any.
- You'll also need your National Insurance number if you have one, and details of your current badge if you're reapplying.
- Your council decides — usually within 12 weeks. You can save and return to the application later.
- Cost: up to £10 in England, £20 in Scotland, free in Wales.
Official process: GOV.UK: Apply for or renew a Blue Badge.
How a Blue Badge application works
- Check what you need: A recent digital photo, proof of identity, proof of address, and proof of benefits if you get any. We explain what counts for each.
- We translate the questions: We go through the application questions in Urdu, Punjabi, Polish, Romanian or English and prepare your answers about your mobility.
- You submit online: You enter the prepared answers into your own application at apply-blue-badge.service.gov.uk — we never log in for you. We can guide you on a call.
- Pay the fee and wait: Payment goes through your council. They usually decide within 12 weeks. If refused, the council must explain why, and you can ask them to reconsider.

Frequently asked questions
Can you apply for the Blue Badge for me?
We prepare everything — translated questions, your answers, and a checklist of the photos and documents you need — but the application is submitted through your own council account.
How much does a Blue Badge cost?
Up to £10 in England, £20 in Scotland, free in Wales. That's the badge fee, paid to the council. Our fee for preparing the application is separate.
How long does a Blue Badge last?
Usually up to 3 years. You must reapply before it expires. We can help with renewals too.
What if my application is refused?
The council must tell you why. You can ask them to reconsider, or reapply if your mobility gets worse. We don't advise on eligibility, but we can help you prepare a reconsideration request.
