Attendance Allowance form help
Attendance Allowance is for people over State Pension age who need help with personal care because of illness or disability. The claim form is long — we translate it, you answer, we type it up.
Attendance Allowance helps with the extra costs of needing care at home. You can claim online or by post.
The claim form asks about your health condition and the help you need with daily living. The form comes with notes, but for someone whose first language isn't English, completing it accurately is difficult.

Do you decide if I'm eligible for Attendance Allowance?
No. We never advise on eligibility. We translate the questions and type in the answers you give us. GOV.UK explains who can claim.
Is the form really that long?
Yes — it asks in detail about your condition and the help you need. That's exactly why people want it done properly, in their own language.
I need the form posted to me — can you help with that?
Yes. Call the Attendance Allowance helpline on 0800 731 0122 to request a form, or we can help you get one. Send us a photo when it arrives.
What languages do you work in?
English, Urdu, Punjabi, Polish and Romanian, and more on request.
